At Commonwealth Pediatric Dentistry, we believe every child deserves compassionate, expert dental care. We are located in Louisville, KY at Hurstbourne Pkwy and Westport Rd. Our Kentucky-FUN themed practice combines southern hospitality with the newest technology offered in pediatric dentistry. We focus on creating a comfortable dental experience with the goals of prevention, restoration and comprehensive health.
Pediatric Dental Member Affiliations
Dr. Dobson completed her pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2018. The hospital-based program included weekly operating room experience performing dental procedures under general anesthesia, as well as rotations in anesthesia and the emergency department. As a resident, Dr. Dobson also provided emergency dental coverage for Norton Children’s Hospital in downtown Louisville, KY.

At early visits, we’re paying attention to how the mouth is functioning – things like tongue movement, lip mobility, and overall oral development.
Why does that matter?
Because the way the mouth functions can impact things like feeding, comfort, and even early growth patterns. It’s not always something new parents expect us to look at but it’s an important part of how we care for our youngest patients.
